JerusaLAND™, your guided trek to Jerusalem.

A once in a life time experience – For three days you can be, smell, feel the ground where it all happened.  Three days of moderate walk, biblical landscapes, a passage through 60 km and 3000 years of history in a pace and guidance that make it a “once in a lifetime experience”.

The trek – A 60 km trail, from the Judea hill slopes to Jerusalem old city. It streches along parts of the Israel trail and Jerusalem trail. The trek starts at Tel Azeka, where took place the most famous duel, the one between David  and Goliath. It ends on the ramparts of Jerusalem’s old city, a place overlooking the holiness of three religions.

The nature – The trek passes through a biosphere region recognized worldwide by UNESCO for its uniqueness. Besides its historic heritage, the landscape is beautiful, the flora and fauna present themselve with pride and our guide will not miss the opportunity to share his knowledge with you.

Historic heritage – Along the trek we walk in a tunnel of time. 3000 years of a rich history to become clearer as one witnesses places mentioned in the old and new testament, visits ruins such as Kiafa, the earliest fortress from the time of king David, walks along a Roman way, reveals wine and olive presses used at the period of the second temple, a Byzantine church, a Crusaders Villa, the ruins of Arab villages and todays Israely villages. Our passionate guides will provide a perspective to this complexity, still leaving place for other interpretations.

Cultural heritage – The trek is an opportunity to pose some questions. What is Judaism? What is a Kibbutz? Why did Christianty evolve here? etc.
On your way, below a tree, you will participate in a workshop, where, while you learn a Talmud chapter, some of the answers will become apparent.  Later in Jerusalem, anything you witness may have a much deeper meaning for you.

Ambiance – Be prepared to get excited, to come to Jerusalem with joy.  Be prepared to sing, enjoy the vibes of togetherness and nights around a bonfire with an accompanying guitar.
